R&R Fixture vision plates are created to fit your specific vision machine. Vision plates are available with either M4 (metric) or 1/4-20 (English) threaded holes for using R&R components. Multiple threaded holes on the fixture plate increase the flexibility of the fixture and allow for holding and securing the smallest of parts in a tight proximity. A small area in the center of larger plates does not have threaded holes, which allows an unrestricted view for very small parts. The acrylic portion of the vision base plate extends slightly past the measuring range to allow maximum clamping from the outer edges.
Our framed acrylic plates can include mounting holes for attaching the frame to the stage of your specific vision system. The frames are cast aluminum with a hard, anodized protective coating. The frame allows items such as probe racks and calibration plates to be mounted as well.
Framed acrylic base plates are either 0.75" (19mm) or 1" (25mm) thick, depending on your specific vision system stage. Acrylic plates that do not have an aluminum frame are 0.5" (13mm) thick. These frameless acrylic plates are available in sizes from 150mm x 150mm up to 450mm x 450mm.
NEW!Our new multi-window modular vision fixture plates have non-threaded window areas to help your smallest parts to be seen clearly without any obstructions. Multi-window base plates can accommodate numerous parts at one time. Learn More»
