R&R vision fixtures are designed to hold parts in as free a state as possible, no matter what size, shape or material. Our aluminum frame is made to mount to the exact specification and stage size of your particular vision system. The acrylic base has multiple threaded holes which enables the user to fixture as many parts on the plate at one time as possible and secure the smallest of parts in a tight proximity.

Custom Framing

Each aluminum framed vision fixture is custom tailored to fit the exact specifications and stage size of your particular vision system, allowing for probe racks and calibration artifacts. The frame is securely attached to the stage of your machine by use of mounting holes. The plate extends slightly past the measuring range to allow maximum clamping from the outer edges.

Clearly Accurate

The acrylic base plate allows for a clear, clean look at the part when elevated from the surface by the components. The centers of our larger acrylic fixtures have an area without threaded holes to ensure an unobstructed view for your smalllest parts.

Easy to Indentify

The aluminum frames are alpha-numerically labeled on all sides for documenting your part setups. Components are also labeled with a part number for easy identification and documentation.

Components to Hold Virtually Anything

R&R Fixtures have the versatility to hold just about anything, with its large collection of available components. Steel stampings or machined parts can be held to the fixture with magnets, while various clamping methods are provided for aluminum, plastic, brass, and other non-ferrous materials. R&R is continuously adding to the selection of components to make fixturing even easier and more flexible.

Our 3D fixture modeling software, FixtureBuilder©, enables you to bring your part’s CAD models into the fixture setup then export it to your CMM software. It automatically creates a build list of exactly which components were used and their positions on the base plate.
