The clear advantageEach vision fixture is made with a precision acrylic base plate that allows for back lighting and a clear, clean look at the part from your vision system. Fixture base plates can be customized to fit and mount to your vision stage. The fixture base plates are alpha-numerically labeled for documenting your part setups. Components are also labeled with a part number for easy identification and documentation.
Our components are small and can be arranged within a close circumference to hold and view the smallest of parts without interfering with the edge detection of your machine. This enables you to view the entire part and not covering up any critical features. Clamps can also be used to hold the smallest parts to the center area of the plate where no holes are drilled.
Made to hold virtually anythingThe R&R Fixture, with its multiple holes and various components, has the versatility to hold virtually anything. Steel stampings or machined parts can be held to the fixture with magnets, while various clamping methods are provided for aluminum, plastic, brass, and other non-ferrous materials.
Parts can be elevated from the surface by use of various components and held in as free of state as possible with minimum amount of clamping or holding force applied to the surface of the part increasing repeatability and reproducibility.
Our 3D fixture modeling software, FixtureBuilder©, enables you to bring your part's CAD models into the fixture setup then export it to your CMM software. This innovative CAD software allows you to drag and snap your way to simpler 3D documenting. It also automatically creates a build list of exactly which components were used and their positions on the base plate.
Whether a part is checked daily or only periodically, the labeled base plates and components enable any user to build an accurate and consistent part setup over and over again, especially helpful when there may be multiple users or a long period of time between setups. Documenting the original setup with FixtureBuilder or manually maintains consistency with all future setups and helps greatly improve your gage R&R.
