Added to the top of the XT2 XTensions, the top plate has threaded holes 1/2" on center and can be used to set components on top and support a part from beneath.

When mounted to the XT2 XTensions, it enables the XTensions to be rotated to any angle to line up with the surface of a part for better support and location.
