Fixture base plates are available in standard and custom sizes with English or Metric threads. Multiple threaded holes on the R&R Fixture base plate help increase the flexibility of the fixture.
Our base plates have been engineered of cast aluminum with a hard coat anodize coating called Ni-Tuff ™ that has proven be more durable and resist scratches with its Teflon makeup and extra penetration of the hard coat engineered into our base plates. This NiTuff hard coating will make the base plates last longer and wear better for many years. Base plates can also be made of steel with a black oxide finish.
Plates are available in sizes from 6.0" x 6.0" (150mm x 150mm) up to 60” x 120” (1500 mm x 3047mm) in a single fixture plate. For even larger applications, we can use multiple plates to create any size. Please view our listing of plate sizes that fits your specific CMM system.

Mounting holes for attaching the R&R Fixture base plate to your CMM is included if needed. A drawing will be provided from R&R showing the exact location of the fixture base plate on your specific CMM as well as the mounting hole positions.
Base plates more than 30”x 30” (750mm x 750mm) are numbered in both the X and Y direction. Base plates less than 24”x 24” (600mm x 600mm) are labeled with letters in the X and numbers in the Y direction.
